They check in but they don't check out...


While it's possible that some of the returns customers send to us end up getting lost on the way to the warehouse due to being labeled "Caution: Expensive dress inside", it can't possibly happen to all of them. Especially when the conditions look suspicious. For example, the order is outside of the time frame for doing a return (item is postmarked after the 21st day or the 91st day after delivery date), and should by all rights be mailed back to the customer...but it isn't. It is uncertain if the company just doesn't want to spend the money to mail it back and it's just sitting in a warehouse somewhere...or if they shipped it to an outlet store to get twice the profit. Or maybe they noticed it was ripped or smelled funny and threw it in the trash or took it to goodwill. In cases where there's no identifying information, it would make sense, to a degree, to sell the unidentified dress. After all, Failstation doesn't have the ability to look up accounts by addresses, and the name might be misspelled or missing from the shipping container (which may also be missing something). It's unknown whether or not this happens to items with identifying information. What is known is that customers notice when the refund or rejected item doesn't show up. And they're not happy.
